AAU LAW STUDENTS TO RESUME NO MATTER THE ODDS

The dean of the faculty of Law has taken his stance that all students of the faculty of law must resume on the 12th of November,he made this known on his Facebook page. He said; "AAU LAW STUDENTS MUST KEEP A DATE WITH HISTORY 12th November 2018. If the forest vanishes, one tree will do more than a forest."

ASUU AAU EMBARKS ON TOTAL, INDEFINITE AND COMPREHENSIVE STRIKE.

The academic staff union of university had a meeting earliertoday at the etf Agric all at about 10 a.m. members of the academic staff union of university held a congress as regarding opting in or opting out of the national strike. Prof Monday Igbafen made it known that members of the congress voted for the strike. Members were immediately asked to vacate the premises following the decision arrived at.

DEAN OF FACULTY OF LAW,PROF SUNNY EDEKO SAYS HE WILL NOT BE JOINING IN STRIKE.

The dean of the faculty of Law,prof Sunny Edeko has made it known on monday that he will not be joining in the strike adding that he is not a union worker.This evidently means that the faculty of Law will not be joining in the strike.He suggests propaganda as a more reliable alternative to get the FG to do their bidding. His writeup read thus;"WHY I WILL NOT GO ON STRIKE There are several reasons why I will not go on strike. They are all important but the most important is that strike is an outdated means of negotiation by professors of negotiation. Strike is like an expired and fake drug that can only complicate the health of the ailing baby and possibly kill the baby. If we want to inject potent elixir into the ailing baby, we must look towards other directions other than strike. 'SHELVE STRIKE' SAYS PRESIDENT BUHARI TO NIGERIAN LABOUR CONGRESS(NLC)

President Buhari in Abuja on Monday appealed to the leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) to shelve its planned strike. He reportedly urged labour to consider what his government inherited and what it was doing with fewer resources to put the economy in the right shape. The President also assured Nigerians that his administration would sustain massive investments to upgrade and develop the country’s transport and power infrastructure. Media adviser to the President, Mr. Femi Adesina, in a statement, said President Buhari made the remark when he received members of the Association of Retired Career Ambassadors of Nigeria (ARCAN) led by Ambassador Oladapo Fafowora.
